Hello All,
We awoke early at 6:00 am to start our 500 km drive to a family farm house that we would stay for the night and hunt Springbok the next day. It was a very nice South African morning.
We stopped for lunch at Beaufort Wes at a nice steakhouse. We continued on and arrived at the farm house at shortly after dark. The sun sets here at 6:00 pm and is completely dark by 6:30 pm. The sunsets are beautiful but short lived.
We unpacked our stuff and organized ourselves for a night hunt for Spring Hare. We hunted until about 1:00 am under a 1 million candle power spot light. We seen lots of animals in the spotlight. We returned to the farm house and went to bed at 1:30 pm.
