One Day..

At 10.24, 19th January 2005, the world changed - I was half asleep in the passenger seat at the time, when my mother woke me, to tell me there was a police car chasing us! My dad had been caught speeding at 126kph, when the limit was 100kph - and he got a $205 fine!!!!
"You have a lovely country officer".........."Your Nicked!!"
If it had have been me (and it easily could have...I had sped round many of the roads!) I would never have heard the end of it, and know it killed him that it was him. Luckily however, me and my mother didnt spend the rest of the day winding him up about it!
Caught the flight back to Sydney, and had our farewell meal at Darling Harbour - kind of sad, as I'm all alone again now - I havent been alone for nearly a month, and now its time for the next country and next people.
