Another early morning but it confirmed that the Volcano hike is ON! We are charmed it seems as this time of year they are lucky to have to the right conditions once or twice a week. Walk starts in earnest at 8am and we reach the summit and the swirling sulphor dioxide plume 5 hours later. First time using ice axe and crampons. Loved it.
