On Monday morning we were up at 7am as we had to be at the ferry terminal at 7.45am to check in for our ferry over to Colonia which is in Uruguay.  It was weird because the check in was like at an airport!  The ferry over was 1 hour and I am happy to report that I was not sea sick!!  Anyone that knows me any bit knows that I hate boats and plane because I get so sick.  Anyway the town was a bit dead when we arrived and I was a bit disappointed but we kept walking and went out onto the pier which was lovely.  We went up a lighthouse in the town and got a bit of lunch.  It was really pretty actually but you didn't need that much time there to see it and our ferry back was at 5 so we had some time to kill so we got some ice cream and sat in the park.  The weather was quite nice - blue skies and really nice clouds but cold.  You don't mind the cold too much once its not grey and dreary.  We got back and got ready quickly and met the irish gang again in La Cabrera for dinner.  Its a restaurant which we were recommended to try.  Its touristy and not many locals go there and quite pricey but their presentation was unreal.  Ror and Conor got what can only be described as half a cow - their steak was GINORMOUS.  They took no notice of the small print in the menu which said it is recommended to share!!  I got a half portion of bife de chorizo.  It was really tasty but I still prefer Don Julio.  The extras that we got though were unreal.  They brought out some amount of sauces and dips.  There was apple sauce, garlic potatoes, quails eggs, bean dips, salsa dips...the list really could go on.  We all got red wine again and I am starting to get a taste for the Malbec over here - its quite nice.  We went to a bar again for few drinks after dinner.
