The trusty Tom Tom navigated us to Viaden and Eternach - both small towns in Belgium. Then Luxembourg, thru France to Pont Du Massion, final destination Zurich.
Our first night was spent in our van on a cliff side opposite a 12th century castle, even though our sleeping arrangements were a little basic it was a 5* view. Have been lucky finding great spots to park up - they love a bit of camping/motor home holidays here!
We were a bit gutted we missed the Tour De France due to car troubles, but funnily enough when we were wandering around Luxembourg city we stumbled onto a TV commercial being shot with the Schleck Brothers
On his first morning on the bike in Zurich Jarrad bumped into his friend Flo - good timing as yesterday was National Swiss day. Flo has an amazing apartment in the Centre of Zurich and he invited us to a roof top BBQ to celebrate with the locals. Fireworks are legal here so the boys let off what must have been a $1,000 display.
We must look funny getting around the city - Jarrad on his very flash bike and me on the old Dutchy that Morgan lent us. Jarrad has doubled me on the Dutchy a few occassions - The Swiss stare..thinking perhaps its illegal??
Tonight is our first night out of the van! Flo is away and has lent us his pad for the night. Electricity, running water and internet - ahhh the luxury.
Email us any news from home - would love to hear from you.
Cheerio from the two (freshly showered) small travellers
