Sitting in the living room of the house that will be 'homebase' for the next few months.  Weird to think that this time last week we were just pootling around Sydney doing our thing!

Trip via HongKong was great - 2 nights and two days of shopping overwhelm and yummy food.  We managed to cram in quite a bit pulling a marathon 12 hour day seeing the sights.  Jarrad had the benefit of my shopping expertise and made some good purchases!

Arrived in Munich on my birthday 5.30am.  Not having had much sleep on the 11 hour flight it was a bit of a struggle to function like a normal human!  But Munich was fantastic, a great combination of old and modern...everyone gets around on their bikes around the city which is pretty cool.  Jarrad has spent a fair bit of time in Munich so was great to be there with someone who knew all the places to go.  Felt obliged to induldge as the locals do so we went to a great gourmet market and had beer and sausages for lunch.  Was half cut - half a litre of beer with jetlagg...interesting combination.

Flew from Prague on the dodgiest little plane, Jarrad was pulling sticky tape off the cabin and announcing outloud that we might not make it  alive.  Hmmmmm they also made the mistake of asking him to complete the customer survey...

Went out on the bikes yesterday to explore town.  Amazing - bus loads of tourists arrive here daily.  Photos don't do it justice.
