Today we woke up in Portland and headed for California. We decided to drive the Oregon coast and on the way there we got a much needed car wash and went to the Evergreen International Aviation and Space Museum, home of the one and only 'Spruce Goose'.   They also had a B-17, a P-51, an F-14, an SR-71, and a whole lotta other sweet planes.  After the museum we continued on our way to the Oregon coast.  The coast was quite breathtaking.  Huge crashing waves, high cliffs and large rock formations abounded.  There were lots of small coastal towns along the way.  Hopefully some day we can come back and visit some of them during the summer.  We then drove through the redwood forests after dark, which was spooky but cool.
