Where I stayed
Thursday was a lazy day of sitting around the honeymoon cabin. We sat in the hot tubs in the snow, ate some cereal, and really just lounged around. That night though, we had the best meal of the whole trip! Cooper Spur has a restaurant, which had a "buy one entrée, get one free" deal. It's a good thing too, because it was really expensive, but it was totally worth it. Jen had the steak, and Shane had the fish, and both were cooked to perfection, as was the clam chowder, calamari, asparagus, rice, and potatoes. Yup, it was a gooooood meal.
Friday we had our first ski day at Mount Hood Ski Meadows. Unfortunately, the highest lifts were closed due to wind, although there was a lot of fresh snow. The good part was we could get high enough to hit the back country, which has been one of the highlights of our trip
Saturday Lulu and Eric drove from Portland to go skiing with us (actually they went snowboarding). It was great fun to have our friends there with us, and we all made spaghetti dinner back at the cabin and had a grand ol' time.
Today (Sunday) was another lazy relaxing day, full of hot tubs and cereal, and cup cakes. Tomorrow is our last day at Mount Hood, then we head towards the Oregon coast!
