Sick as a puppy!

My Saturday night in Berlin was a disappointment, given that my flu etc. has developed into one of the worst I've had this year... I went out but lasted only half an hour and one drink - I couldn't do it. I feel like absolute s*** and wish I didn't have to move today. To make matters worse, I haven't really slept at all for the last 2 nights so feel absolutely wrenched. I was up all night last night... sleeping in a bunk didn't help matters... felt claustrophobic all night and couldn't breathe. It is days like this I wish I wasn't travelling. It's not like work where you can ring up and take a few days off and sleep all day. I've got no choice but to get up, pack my bag and walk to the train station here in Berlin, get on the train and endure the 9 hour trip to Paris... and then circumnavigate Paris' metro system in getting to my next awaited hotel, Doisy Hotel. I REALLY can't be bothered doing it. I'm really glad I've got a hotel to relax in, no matter how small it is. This episode of sickness kind of reminds me of the last time I was in Paris... with a very nasty cough back in 1994. Luckily, Paris was one of my last stops so I then returned to Perth's summer because I feared it was pneumonia. If my flu doesn't clear up in the next day or two, sleeping is all I will be doing in Paris. My head feels like it's going to explode. I have some cold and flu tablets so will dose up on those. S*** I hate these days.
Naturally this is a small entry... will update when I'm feeling a lot better and can be bothered once more.
