I don't know what's going on but I've come down with ANOTHER BLOODY flu... and it couldn't have come at a worst time. This is probably my 7th flu this year, and to tell you the truth, I'm getting pretty sick and tired of it... especially when I'm in one of the nightlife capitals of the world.

But I still managed to get myself out last night... am feeling the consequences today. I'm not hung over, I'm just feeling the effects of the flu. It was an interesting night... the nightclubs in the likes of London and New York are probably better... last night they played techo... not my favourite. Entry and drinks were reasonably priced... 7 euro got me entry and one free drink to the Connexion Club on Mozartstrasse, about a 15 minute walk from my hostel. I liked the club's system of giving you a card which recorded the drinks from the bar... you pay on exiting the club. If you lose the card, you have to pay 60 euro ($100).

The weather has cooled down significantly today, and law and behold, it actually rained today (and this morning when I walked home at 4). I couldn't sleep last night as the syptoms of the flu truly set in. Getting sick whilst travelling is the biggest pain of this whole thing... was suppose to be a tourist today and do more sights but have resorted to doing nothing, and downloading pics onto travelpod.

A few of us returned to the Einstein Cafe this morning which provided me with one of the best breakfasts I've had on this trip... see the photo, but set me back 20 euro which is my day's budget today. Mabe it's a good thing I've come down with the flu because I can't see myself going out tonight which is a real pain given it's Saturday night in Berlin (save money though). I'm off to Paris tomorrow on the 10:42 train... get into Paris around 8pm. I think I'm more excited about getting to Spain now... Barcelona, Madrid and Algecirez on this trip. But I've got 4 nights in Paris to explore what the town has to offer. I hope this damn flu is a 24 hour thing...
