I really don't know if I made the right decision to leave Italy and come to Switzerland, for I absolutely fell for Italy (training through it just goes to show what a wasted opportunity) and I can't stand the toffee nosed atmosphere of Zurich (a lot of stuck up French people around)... but I've just arrived so my attitude might change. I met some great people in Rome which makes for leaving ever so much more difficult... I should of followed Pablo to Florence. I'm really disappointed that I'm on a time limit to get to Casablance on the 13th August, for I have fallen for Italy like I have with Laos and Cambodia. I'm sure I will spend more time in the future in Mediterranean and South East Asian countries. Makes wanting to get to Spain ever so much more desperate... may miss Paris altogether???? I don't like the French at all. I met a really great Italian guy on the Rome to Milan route... so much friendlier than the likes of British trains.

The internet is a ridiculous 5 francs for 30 minutes so I won't be internetting much here in Zurich. Like Dublin, the accommodation was all booked out so I've had to resort to a 2 star hotel for 80 francs a night. I have 3 nights booked here and will try to see as much as possible. I really miss the atmospheres of South East Asia compared to the overpriced and attitude-riden atmosphere of Zurich.

Anyway, I plan to travel to Belgium in 3 days time. Will be interesting to see how I go here. More travelpods to follow when it's a lot cheaper than this city, including my closing entries for Rome.
