My luck is changing... last night, Daniel managed to score two free tickets to the London theatre through a friend of his who works in the theatre industry. The show was called 'Blue Man Group' and has received positive reviews in both New York and London. Daniel and I had excellent seats... O row in the front area so had an unbelievable view of the amazing show. The show, which has three main characters dressed in blue masks, perform an array of acts using their amazing sense of rhythm and beat. Of all the shows to date, this show rates highest in their ability to capitalise on audience interaction. The conclusion was most impressive with reams of toilet paper being rushed through from the back of the theatre to the front. The use of percussion was awesome. I left the theatre in awe and in need of another show! Attending the theatre rates up there as being a highlight of my tour. Afterwards, Daniel and I met up with some of his local friends at a bar in Soho. An unbelievable night! Thanks Daniel for a great London experience...
I checked out of the YHA hostel at 10am this morning and was in Cheam 1 hour later. But it wasn't all smooth sailing... when I arrived at Cheam's train station, the doors to my carriage wouldn't open. I ended up going to the next station, Ewell East, and had to wait for 15 minutes to get the train back to Cheam. Luckily the two stops weren't too far apart.
So, here I am, in Cheam with home cooked meals, my own bedroom and bathroom for the next couple of weeks. I have since received the documentation I need to apply for a new passport... thanks Pat and mum... I have the birth certificate and guarantor form. Tomorrow I will head back into London to attend to this.
