Hi everybody!!

amsterdam was amazing. Even without the legalisation of dope and mushrooms, its still a great city with many beautiful canals, and nice cafes.

I would have loved to go to the Anne Frank house, but after falling on my ankle in estonia I could hardly walk, so Milli went instead. I´ll let her talk about that.  But lets get to the drugs!

 and space cake! we did the same thing we did in Byron Bay, which was eat too much space cake, cease to function and then sleep for 14 hours. The next day we tried Magic Mushrooms, we went into a smart shop and purcased two single size portions of Thai shrooms, went out for a beer and had a great trip for about 6 hours!!! floors we´re moving, colours were changing, they were just fun, and happy. the second level. we decided not to do the ones that would trip us out too much, which was a good idea.

Also went for a walk down the red light district and saw the girls. some of them we´re very bored and talking on there mobile phones, and we saw a few lucky punters come out of the booths quite relaxed.

some of the coffee shops were a bit dodge but others we´re great.

well I will leave the rest for milli to write, as its a bit hazy for me and the photo´s arent going to upload themselves.... Couldn´t write sooner as stupid parisian keyboards we´re a little weird.

Hoi!! Amsterdam WAS fun and we spent many hours wandering around the little streets and over the canals at the buildings that looked like they were out of Tim Burton movies because they were at random angles! We mused over whether they were to save space - as they used to pay rent by the square metre - or if they just liked to live ´crazy´!!

The red light district was fun! The windowed girls were bored but dressed very nicely, there were all shapes and sizes and so many groups of guys wandering around it wasnt funny! I thought I had taken a trip to Guy Land! Ok that was a poor poor joke but come on!!!!
Unfortunately there were alot of annoying Americans but we have found them everywhere - except Estonia!! Possibly it was too cold for their pea brains Shane mused...

Yes we overdid the space cake - but when you´re in a cosy little ´coffee shop´ drinking hot chocolate of course you´re going to have a little nibble more!! They also served lots of juice with joints which we liked alot!! Yes I went to Anne Franks house, as Shane went through many days in massive pain with his ankle which was terrible considering the city is made of uneven cobblestones and bridges over canals!

The house was all done up and I was in a line of people throughout which took away from it but it was good to see where the family hid and it was sad that she died a month before the end of it all. We had fun in Amsterdam and will have to get back to see the Van Gogh museum as we did lose a day or two from substances...ahem. NOT happy about that but when in Rome...wait, we were in Amsterdam..oigh...
