We are exhausted and probably deirious from an hours sleep and waiting about 8 hours in Bangkok airport before the trip. The plane was a larger one and so didnt have personal TV screens which we sooked about no end but the flight was fine. We got in so early we thought we'd pop into the city centre but it was dead and our course ended up crossing paths with no less than about 5 crazy people but then what did we expect at about 7am on a sunday morning!? We wandered around and had some coffee and wandered around and slowly more people emerged, a couple of guys gave us directions and helped us out with train tickets - must have been returning from a big saturday night! Jealous! Ours consisted of sitting next to a small Asian woman who blew her nose alot, and eating small plane meals with a screeching kid nearby! Sweeeet....
One notable crazy man started making noises as we walked past him, as we continued to not care we crossed the road and looked back to see he had dropped down backwards and was heaving back and forth, so a woman talked to him and didnt get far and then he disappeared when workers from the train station were told of him.
We found our hotel located not far from the train station which was noice, as we hadnt told them of our flight change we dropped our stuff in and wandered around a while because it wasnt ready. I took Shane to the only place I knew that was Germania-ish with ye old town and cobblestones and lots of beer and sausages!
ok I lie but we both had stopped conversing in the normal way and were staring blankly for minutes on end...this is when we walked home and got a sauasage with mustard and a roll - THE best - and got home to find the room wasnt done so we walked nearby and sat. The streets ended here in a park for kids so we sat near little German boys who said something cheeky and then realised we werent from around here so giggled and moved off. Finally got to bed at about 2pm which was 7pm Thailand time, and we slept from 2pm till 3am the next morning. Comfy clean and warm! Big change from Thailand! Woke up and flicked through the mass of naughty German TV channels, watched some German band with a Steve lookalike from Repeat Offender and finally got up and went through the hassle of trying to get a refund for double booking the trip to Estonia - NOT OUR FAULT - and having lots of fun, not, until we finally took the most obscure plane at the end of the Frankfurt airport to little Estonia!! Yay!!
