Today we set off from Waitamo at about 8.30 and drove north all day to the Bay of Islands in the pouring rain, finally arriving at about 3.15 in the afternoon.

Bay of Islands is at the top of the North Island. It is a large bay full of 100s of islands.

We're based here for 4 days with a rough plan that includes trying to swim with the dolphins, going to the very top of the North Island and maybe even...
