For the morning of this most auspicious of days we did the Shotover Jet.

This is a jet boat that goes up and down a canyon on the Shotover river. It is quite quick and appears to get very close to the canyon walls. It is also quite a wet activity - it's amazing the way the water manages to find the route straight down ones neck.

After lunch we played indoor mini golf. It was something quite different and - between extensive swearing - fun (although I let him win as it was his Birthday).

Dinner was at a little restaurant that had been recommended to Sarah. Vintage champagne and choice of gourmet pizza.
