After breakfast, we went to the very top of the hill - via a ski style chair lift. From there we went back to the gondala station. And this we did repeatedly - in the style of Sisyphus and his rock. (Shane showing off his culture here!)
The reason for this was Sarah's need for speed. The chair lift takes you to the start of a luge track (Luge here is defined as a 3 wheel go-kart not a tea tray with wheels).And this we did many times.
It was great fun with 2 different tracks to come down - I was maliciously overtaken on a bend by the Alfa speed freak!
And just like when driving her Pug - she didn't indicate once.
Back down in Queentown proper we had lunch, went for a short walk along the lake's edge and went to the cinema to see Pirates 3. Kiwi audiences are so much more mature than the Ozzies (are you surprised by that statement?). Although we had drawn the line at going to Pirates on Thursday night with the people in costume!
