After another bad - but thankfully short - night flight we found ourselves flying low over the lush green Australian rain forest, the morning mist still covering the lower areas / valleys. Then we're flying over the coast, the sun shining bright on the azure blue sea.

Getting out of the airport it was 70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky.

We're now on the other side of the world (GMT +9) so our body clocks are slightly confused, though Sarah still manages to sleep morning, afternoon and evening (though not at night). But hey if it's still happening on Thursday morning there's always Champions League football at 03.30!!

We've got a quiet day in Cairns today - re-packing our stuff and trying to recoup some of last nights missing sleep. The only challenge for today is which of the multitude of food choices do we go for; fresh fish, Crocodile, Kangaroo, Emu.... no end of decisions.

Tomorrow we're off to a luxury lodge in the rain forest for 4 nights so not sure how much internet access we'll have. But, feel free to look at Peppers web site (www.bloomfieldlodge.com.au) and be thoroughly jealous.
