A quiet day. A lazy morning and re-packing of suitcases. Then some lunch and more shopping.
So now it's evening and here we are in one of the many lounges in Singapore airport.
Some thoughts on Singapore:
- hot and humid.
- multicultural (Chinese, Malay and Indian).
- a mix of East and West.
- lots of shopping and eating.
- humid.
- compact (it's a 'vertical' city, many people live in skyscrapers rather than 'horizontal' estates.
- organised, efficient, clean, friendly.
Oh, and did I mention it is very humid?
So, we look forward to a night flight to Oz. If they win the cricket final it's going to be almost unbearable. Curiously, this is the only country we need a visa to get into - is that because neither of us has the pre-requisite criminal record...
The current lack of picture is due to Sarah being tight and us only using free internet access that doesn't allow access to USB sockets. We'll sort it out in Oz (hopefully).
