Bert & Ina's house!

We were pretty keen to vacate our hotel this morning, but we were grateful we did not have to camp in the tent in the rain the night before.

After a quick look around town and a quick spot of shopping, and another bratwurst in Hannover we were off to Holland.

We sat on about 160km on the Autobahn today. Nice weather and good drivers makes it possible to cruise along.

We arrived at Ina & Bert's house was great to see them again and we are looking forward to spending a week or so with them in their lovely house. We had a nice home cooked meal of steak for dinner and a personalised tour around the city of Hardenberg. We called into Ina's work and checked out the kitchen at the hospital she works at, lots of cool stainless steel that Shane liked! We then drove past one of Shane’s Oma’s sister (great aunty) we thought we would call in and say hello, she was looking might sprightly for an unannounced visit and someone who is nearly 98 years of age. There are some good genes in Shane’s family, so much so that there is some research currently being done by the government on the family as Oma and many of her sisters have been blessed with a longevity gene.

We finished the day off with a gelato from Tosacana’s.

It's nice to get to Holland and relax.
