monday afternoon and we leave cochabamba in about 5 hours (must get packing done soon).  amber and i are catching and overnight bus to Sucre where we will be for a couple of days before catching another overnight bus to Uyuni for a 3 day trip of Salar de Uyuni.  the last few days have been lots of fun.  saturday night was our last night out in town so a group of us had dinner and drinks at the house, then to a bar called naquna, then to karaoke at a place called lujo´s (we had a private room and belted out some great hits), then finished off the night at a bolivian mightclub called pimientos verdes (green pepper).  much fun and hit the hay about quarter to ten sunday morning.  the last day of school at la colonia was lovely.  all the children had made us these wall hangings with all their names on it and some had made cards too.  there were speeches and photos and some of the chilfren got up to say things and then lots of hugs and kisses and goodbyes.  was a little sad to leave them but got lots of lovely photos and memories.  we went to la cancha this morning, one of south america´s largest markets (it goes on forever - you could very easily get lost there).  it sells everything and has its own little witches market section where you can buy everything voodoo and lucky charms and llama foetus´.  there were loads of them all hanging by their necks (from 6 inches to 2 foot in length).  very strange to see and the smell was pretty funky too.  also walked through the meat section and there are cow parts everywhere - random legs on the floor and the odd skinned head lying around.  was not the nicest thing to be surrounded by at 8am this morning especially when i walked past a lady hacking up a chunk of meat and bone with a cleaver and got sprayed with raw cow juice and bone.  i actually let out a small scream of disgust.  (as i did again later when a random old bolivian man beggar we passed on the pavement hit me for no reason then held out his hand for money and started shouting at me - i did not give to that particular charity).  all said, cochabamba has been fantastic and i have really enjoyed my time here.  it has been everything and more than i expected.
