Turns out we weren´t supposed to hich across the border or something because we got a ride  in a van with two girls one from alaska one from california and one blue healer puppy we have no insurance for mexico, no mexican drivers licenses, and we managed to cross the border at nogales without ever having to show our passports. we did stop to declare our veggies just to be safe but we got made fun of when we told the guard we have one box of lechuga y one naranja. ¿porque declaro? no say.
The van is big and heavy and goes 100 miles per hour  down the windy dangerous one lane with oncoming traffic mexian roads. So it´s very likely we could crash instead of getting picked up by a kidnapper. but right now at least we are safe and the fastest vehicle in all of Mexico. As we fly back and forth across the van hitting the walls grasping for anything to hold us back and trying to stablize the flying cargo as the dog pobre perro flies toenails through our laps at high velocity.

We stayed at a What would have been a million dollar house in the U.S. with our couch host Ivan.
We got our own beds and stayed in the guest house, it had a huge huge huge courtyard with pool and hot tub and a pecan tree!
and we spent the night going from house party to house party to taco truck.
