We headed south from Queenstown to Te Anau, a stopping point on the way to Milford Sound. There's not much to see in Te Anau, but the town sits next to Lake Te Anau. We pulled into a holiday park overlooking the lake. It didn't have the great view that we had the last couple of nights but the camping facilities here were great! Better than some hostels we stayed at!
We stopped by at a great café, the Redcliff Cafe , that was the favorite of many of the LOR crew while filming around Te Anau. The potato wedges were pretty darn tasty - loved the sour cream and sweet chili sauce condiments with it!
