Undoubtedly one of my favourite places we have visited so far on our trip, and I think one of Seth's too. We stayed with a lovely Argentine couple, Gustavo and Ana, in our own little bungalow, complete with kitchen and hammocks, just 3 minutes walk from a practically deserted beach. It was idyllic. The sea was beautiful with waves just big enough to be fun but not scary for a wuss like me. The town of Trancoso was 10 minutes walk away, an old hippy commune which still has that feel to it. It has a very peaceful grassy common lined with colourful houses situated on top of a cliff overlooking tropical beaches; the view at night especially was just wonderful. Highlights of our too short a stay there were swimming before breakfast, relaxing in the hammocks and getting to know Gustavo and Ana's lovely dogs and the naughty street dogs who spent all day running around on the beach...what a life!
