Johanneburg seemed the same.  We did not go into the city, as we had no need.  We booked online to stay at the safari club web site.

Emile Muller, the owner was very accomodating and able to help us with arrangements for a rent a car, and transport back and forth.  We stayed for 2 nights to rest after 2 long nights of travel, and headed out for the Natal coast.  We made it as far as Harrismith.

good to hear from you
Hi.....great to receive your travel news! We have just returned from our South American Cruise which we enjoyed very much. Unfortunately, the weather was not great - poured torrents of rain for the 2 days in Buenos Aires and everywhere in Brazil was so very very hot and humid! However, we had a great time and enjoyed all the sights that wecould fit into the time on shore! The scenery was spectacular with the gorgeous lush forests and plants. We had a Jewish guide in BA who showed us all the sights of Jewish interest there - some sad and others not.
enjoy your travels and be well..... regards from Lutz and myself.....Erica
