So Koh Phi Phi, the most beautiful, the busiest, the most expensive, the most tourist jaded people and the most rubbish. The rubbish and rubble may be partly from the tsunami and rushed development afterwards, but either way its noticable. Huge limestone cliffs make impressive islands, white beaches, perfectly clear water and great snorkelling opportunities. It really is as pretty as they say but suffering from their own success and NOT a place for budget holiday makers, for once the lonely planet is right on that one. We really enjoyed it for a couple of days and the snorkelling trip was great. ' The Beach' lagoon was beautiful but some rough waves for our little longtail boat. It really is somewhere you have to visit, gorgeous. Now off for some culture, Phuket calls!
