Ayuthaya is the old capital of Thailand and is now a Unesco World Heritage site full of temples and ruins of old palaces. We hired bikes to tour round the park for the day. It was really quiet and by bike it was easy to visit most of the temples on the island. It was really hot though and having arrived at 5am from the overnight bus from Chiang Mai, we'd had temple overload by the afternoon! Next stop something different , Khao Yai National Park...
