Luang Prabang- beautiful old town full of wats along the river. Very touristy, great Indian food and night market! We went mountain biking out to an Elephant Park where they have 4 old logging elephants now making a living by giving rides to tourists. We chose the easy mountain bike tour but it was really hard work, its all either uphill or downhill, absolutely no flat parts at all. We needed plenty of breaks but made it in the end. The guide was really nice though, he told us about life in Laos and the countryside we were biking through, the lunch was fantastic too. This was the first real exercise since we left Holland in December and we could definitely feel it in the legs the next day.
