so after 3 blogs all consistantly about our back luck with getting robed and spit on, and going home in 2 days, i have a nice lil story to finish off the blog with (probly will be one or 2 more entrys but anyways)

So i had told my friend juan jose about what had happend and he wanted to meet up today at 3 pm, so i said sure why not we didnt have much else to do.

He had arrived at 3:40 oh how i will miss the punctuality of latinos :P

Then while we were having coffee and chatting his mom showed up to hang out too (very normal in south america)

She wanted to show us around, and more importantly protect shane jaja so for the whole day while we looked at some museos and i did a lil shoping for gifts etc... since i had been waiting for until i go home, the whole time she never left shanes side.

A shaddy person would come to ask for money from him, and she would put herself between them.

They even walked us directly too the door of the hotel.

They both really felt terrible about our bad luck in bogota, as they really love there country and 90% of the colombians are amazing with big hearts unfortuantly like everywhere the minority ruin it for the majority.

Anyways we had a really great and uplifting day and they took us for dinner for some typical food, including chocolate milk with cheese jaja seriously!

Que buena gente

On a side note with more good news, we got a call from the canadian embassey and shanes temp passport to return to canada is ready, we will go pick it up at 8am tomorrow morning as instructed, now all he has to do is not lose it for 1.5days and we´ll be fine!

Cheers
