So shane and i decided to take a lil spin around the downtown core this morning, while walking around looking for a restaurnt to have lunch, i felt something sticky and wet on the back of my neck, i had thought a bird had shit on me, 2 seconds later a lil ol lady who looked like she could be anyones innocent lil grandmother says awww look they got it all over your shirt has she has one hand pointing out the spit all over my shirt, she had her other hand in my pocket lifting my wallet.

My whole neck shirt and beanie was sickly wet and sticky, as i whiped it off my neck with my beanie i touched my pocket which felt empty, It was then i had realised what had happened she spit on me, helped me robed me all in about 3 seconds. Even though i figured it all out about 2 min later she was long gone lost in the crowded.

What they got.
they got about 30 thousand pesos, roughly 20 bucks, and about 13 us dollars, as well i had fotocopies of my documents, in the wallet the official documents i had left in my hotel locked in my backpack.
As well lol they got my note book loaded with phone numbers travels contacts etc... of my adventures.

Anyways i have no anger towards what happend (surprisingly) i actually kinda laugh at the situation coz i just finished writing a blog about how much i like colombia, but like this could happen anywhere anytime, its part of life especially in a Big city such as bogota.
The thing that amazes me is my jeans are fairly tight i always thought i would feel someones hands in my pocket but i was so discusted by the sticky slimy spit on my neck it was all i was thinking about and thus i was taken advantage of, its a learning lesson and in reality i lost very little.

I think the worst part is now i´m mistrusting of the geniune locals who just wana chat or are just being friendly, which really sucks, hopefully i will get past it in the next few days.

How to prevent it, i think the best idea i can think of at the moment is have a empty wallet, as my other wallet is now with only a piece of paper saying ¨fuck you¨in it, and then my money at the very bottom of my pocket, coz i think they just reach en just enough to grab the wallet, i had other papers in ther that were left behind.

Well thats all for now, gonna go find some lunch, and mom please don´t freak out, the damage was very min.
