So upon flushing the toilet this morning i just realised im back in the northern hemisphere (who says you canīt learn anything from the simpsons!)
So we arrived early this morning 5am some how our bus driver turned a 10-12 hour bus ride into 9, well i shouldnt say somehow i know how, hes been training for the formula one, i swear he was taking turns at no less then 120km he took them so sharp that i almost fell out of my seat several times, including one near miss while i was in the bathroom trying to well you know and i went flying out the door from the G forces.
As i was saying we arrived in cali at 5am which ment it was still dark outside, having learnt our lession from our previous 5am arrival in quito, we decided to have breakfast and a few coffees and watch the sun rise
Then we hoped in a cab to our future hostel, unfortuantly the hostel was not open, or there was no one there, not wanting to wait and since it was daylight outside, we headed to a near by hotel for around the same price.
The hotel.
Well what can i say iīve been hosteling it now for more or less 5.5 months strieght, my last budget hostel in quito came with slugs and mold and complimentry rain, so it was really pretty friggin gross.
Shane however has been traveling for about a week so hes pretty used to his creature comforts.
so when we arrived i was like WOW its so nice, theres a TV with 3 channels hot water, beds with clean sheets curtisy soap and towels!!! i must be dreaming.
Shane was like Mmm its alright i guess jaja.
The only other thing i guess i will mention about the bus ride would be that to my surprise there was no secuirty checks like in peru and ecuador they ask for ID and then take a video of everyone whos on the bus, interesting, but im sure they got there stuff under control i just think its a lil more advanced and thus not so in your face noticable.
Thats all folks
