The journey.
So we took a taxi to the halfway point, a town i can not pronounce nor spell, Anyways the taxi drove like he was practicing for the forumla, as well there was 2 locals in our cab to optimise the price, they had brought with them a trunk full of chicken corpses YUM.
The train.
The train wa worse then the 5 dollar bolivian train.
I guess when you have a monopoly quality isnt as important as property.
We arrived at aguas calientes at 11pm in the evening exchausted, i´ve never been so tired after a 5 hour journey.
So we had dinner we were learned about involentary tiping, turns out everyone in this small town figured out if you right tax or services dumb gringos will just pay it, so when they tell you like 12 soles for a meal then you get your bill its 16 and ohh thats just services.... interesting.
Machu picchu
We woke up before sunrise and took the bus up to machu picchu it was sepectacualr, just the location of it is impressive, its like on the top of a andean mountain.
After doing a 2 hour tour by a really informative guild, shane and i decided to climb A near by mountain whanapicchu sorry if i spelt that wrong.
The mountain gave us a spectacular view.
By the time we got back to aguas calientes we were both exhuasted, i took a siesta, shane slept till the next day, he was also having some problems with the altitude.
Train back
Well the train back was a lil more comftrable then the train there, interestingly enough theres local class which we are not aloud to buy, hmm wonder if there cheaper then 70 dollars each way?
We met some cool girls on the train and decided to pitch on the cab back as too a taxi full of backpackers is a lil better then a taxi full of dead chickens.
Now we are back in cusco, killing our last hour before we head to lima 21 hours of andean bus driving i heard its about 7 hours of twisting and turning all over the road.
Hopefully the full cama was worth while.
Thats all for now cheers
