So i just arrived in peru not long ago, so far its just a small town, very similair to any small town in south america, the faces seem a lil lighter then in bolivia.
First pain is the bank machines only let you take out less then 200 dollars at a time. while you get charged a 5 dollar service charge back home each time, hopefully that changes as i get to a biger city.
I said good bye to the last of my german friends, once we were 7 now i am just one, But as i said good bye i invited myself along with some canadian girls who are staying in puno for a few days before they go to matchu pitchu.
Everyone seems to be B-lining it to cuzco but since im waiting for a friend im going to a town called ariquipa first, Hoping to get some good party goin on practice my spanish and maybe even a hair cut.
Day 2 with the canadian girls.
I woke up early no idea why... but thats just the way things are i guess, then we had breakfast, i know its getting excited.
Anyways we did a trip to the floating islands and when the lonely planet calls the tours explotive well they are correct.
Its pretty much you get to islands and then you get hounded by people trying to sell you handy craft, thats all three islands, whatever the traditional lifestyle was, its been currupted, and now like most places and peoplke in the world it exists strikly for tourists to buy trinkets and snap a few photos
tomorrow ariquipa
