Anyways so today we left at 10:30 to catch a bus, should have been easy we even took a taxi, unfortuantly, the whole city was crippled by protests (dont ask me about what)
aND every main road and bridge was blocked by protesters after our poor taxi driver tried 4 differnt directions and everywhere was so blocked that some drivers just abondoned there cars.
We decided to just walk it, so we walked down this hill to see why nothing was moving protesters had taken over the bridge we had to cross, So with all our back myself and 2 german girls walked through a group of hunderds of angery bolivians, But thankfully could careless about the gringos.
After crossing the protesters it was about 7 blocks uphill (almost all of la paz is always uphill.
Eventually we found the cemetary which is where the buses to here depart from ( no idea why) bought our tickets and 15 min we were off.
2 min later we stoped and all the bolivians loaded up random shit to the rough top.
30 min later and we were off!
Then a hour and a half later...
The bus stoped and most the locals got off the bus, we just figured that this was there stop, Turns out nope, Everyone was kicked off the bus, and the bus was being put on a raft, yup a raft then we had to take a boat accross the river and wait for our bus.
Interestingly enough if they put all the rafts together they could probably build a bridge but i guess that would put pretty much the whole town out of work.
So now i spend my last 2 days with the last of my german friends once we were 7 now we are three by thursday i will be one, crossing into peru, decided what to do for the next 15 or so days until my friend meets me in cuzco
