So i noticed theres a lil space here where i can put where i stayed i think thats new, Most places i´ve stayed i havnt mentioned coz they´ve been average, but i will say loki hostel for 44 bolivianos is a great hostel big comfy rooms and nice beds lockers, lockers with electrical plugs so you can charge your ipod.
As well being in la paz and all, they usually have police or military stationed outside the hostel at all times. I personally fell fairly safe, considering the circumstances, but i will say la paz is the first city i´ve been in where i´ve heard so many gun shots, like in the last 10 min i heard at least 30 short bursts. Once when we were at the atm, interestingly enough the locals dont seem to be too phased by it although i did see on girl jump when one sounded only a block or so away.
Today So today started out pretty chill, slept in, got a good night sleep, well all things considered the dry air is killing my throat, reminding me why i can´t live in edmonton i wake up every hour totally dehydrated, and thursty then i wake up having to take a piss. I had met some people who had heard about how you can bribe a police officer and get a shaddy tour of a famous prision in la paz where the police are only on the outside, and the inside is like a comunity, sounds pretty interesting, But we didnt have any luck the number was disconnected, and i guess they were saying its getting harder to visit the prision now coz tourists keep getting robed. its probably for the best as we were 3 guys and 4 swedish girls with nice blonde hair etc... just asking for trouble really :P
Theres suposed to be a party tonight and then a party friday night, right now my rough plan is to stay in la paz until monday or so then either head to lake titicaca or maybe do a jungle trip. Oh as well i went to a trippy market called the witches market which just seems to snake on forever, If you were wondering thats where i got the photo of the llama fetus from, we had to bribe the lady 25 cents, but was worth it for the photo.
