Last night i took a 9 hour train to oruro, while waiting for the train some latinos i had met informed me that there was not much to do in oruro and it was kinda a whole.

Arival in oruro.

so we tried to get breakfast, and the waiter told us everything was 2 bolivianos more coz we were gringos, so out of principle we left the restaruant, he lost 10 peoples buiesness.

Then we got over charged 5 bolivianos for our bus ticket, 7bolivianos is 1 us dollar.

Catching the bus.

So the bus system in bolivia is chaotic, well from what i know from my first bus, our bus was suposed to leave at 11:30 we went at 11:20 and he was already driving away, even as we ran and yelled at him to stop, Even as we were loading out bags on the bus he was STILL pulling away, Unbelievable.

Arrival in la paz.

The Lonly planet says la paz will literally and figurativly take your breathe away and thats forsure!

Upon arrive all i could do was grin ear to ear, la paz is a city of contrasts and just complete caos half south america half asia, Theres street venders literally in the middle of the road selling random shit to passing cars and buses.

people and cars everywhere just chaotic and crowded.

The first thing we noticed was riot police everywhere and heavily armed military, im not sure if this has anything to do with anything or is just normal la paz.

It has made my german friend a lil nervious, but after 4 months in south america, it doesnt bother me at all, funniest thing he said was ¨Man i can´t wait to goto a normal country again¨

but thats what i love about bolivia thus far, Its just crazy, everything just goes how it goes, i really feel like im back travling again after chile which was so weternized and familiar, Bolivia is just play it by the seat of your pants.

Oh yeah its also really cheap 10 of us had breakfast for 10 dollars, but admititally it was very basic breakfast, my empanada even lacked filling, and was in the end just bread.

So i´ve been in bolivia for like 4 days and already had the shits 2 times, lol thankfully i have some magic lil green pills, Ironicly first time was before the 3 day 4x4 trip, then last night before the train ride, Being the health consious guy i am i tried to drink a milk shake and have a mushroom soup, Aparently the milk got me sick, Thats what i get for not sticking to my cheap beer and burgers diet.

Thats all for now

Cheers

B
