Today i´ve officially spent 3 months in south america.
So i have now arrived in santiago de chile, And realised today my plane leaves from buenos aires to go home, guess i´ve officially missed my first flight home.

That being said i guess i´ll just have to catch the bus home, What a shame looks like i might miss winter.

Yesterday
Yesterday was a rainy cold day in mendoza, for a city thats known for being notoriously dry, it sure seems to rain a lot.

Depsite the weather i managed to really have a great time in mendoza,
This greatly due to the fact that campo base is a amazing hostel (if you don´t like to sleep, and meet lots of people)
I said my good byes and exhanged facebooks, as is becoming the new tradition to try and exchange photos and keep in touch (we´ll see how that goes)

The bus ride through the andes
So i booked with a company called CATA international coz there suposed to be reconized as a high quality bus company and was about 20 bucks BBQ at campo base hostel (mendoza)

.
When i woke up in the morning one of my brazilian friends told me they had, had a bus crash in the andes, So i googled it to find up to date information about this incident turns out theres been 2 incidents in the past month not counting the one i seen on the news which was not yet on the new, regardless for my trip they were great.

Heres my review of my time in argentina
It sucked
Theres not much variety in food, just steak steak steak.
The beers terribly cheap, so cheap you get a beer with everything.
In mendoza the wine is so cheap that you always end up with a bad hang over.
I stayed at a party hostel which means i was stuck always partying in mendoza, just awful.
and don´t get my started on the women, which are just amazing.
hehe hopefully you sense the sarcasim.

Santiago first impressions
The land scape kinda reminds me of seoul korea and california mixed, with the lil mountains all around and build into the city and lots of palm trees and big highways group photo turned out dark

.

The city is also very clean and efficant, Defiantly feels differnt then the other countries i´ve been too.
They have fences blocking you from jay walking, just like in korea.
Infact they have a fence blocking the road where i am staying because from what i understood when they build this store similar to a costco, people were stealing stuff at night and fleeing into the near by neighborhoods, so thus they just blocked off the enterances, you can still get in by opening the gate, but i think its a slow down thing or something, i didnt exactly understand.

Theres lots of chinese retaurents, EVERYWHERE, Aparently theres lots of new chinese imigrants.

In the downtown you can see construction cranes Everywhere first impressions the city is booming, but as i keep hearing all over the world, it just means the rich are making more, the average person is not getting in on this boom all over the world.

Chileano people Are Really nice, as with most latin people dorms, tiny and 3 levels up lol
dorms, tiny and 3 levels up lol
.

Chileano spanish is defiantly differnt then arg and uruguay but not as crazy differnt as i had been repeatly told... as well if you don´t understand the slang, they usually know the correct word.

Oh as well Chilanos have some of the funkiest hairstyles i´ve seen outside of japan, Defiantly really cool, and the guys seem to fuss as much about there hair as the girls.

So for first impressions, i think santiago has been giving a bad rap by travelers not willing to give it a chance, when i was in mendoza everyone kept telling me not to bother hanging out in santiago very long its just another big city, and that might very well be true, but it defiantly has its own feel to it, i´m looking forward to seeing how things go...

It definatly isn´t the city you want to be in if you want some serious culture shock as it does have a lot of americanized aspects too it, even chileano slang has tones of american words, hehe i can actually say ¨cool´ here and they know what i mean.

I am staying with a friend whos imigrated to canadas family, who is still here in santiago.
they are great :D

For my first time ever 19 countries i am completly messed up by the currency roughly 500 pesos is 1 dollar, but for some reason i just cant get my head around the prices when there like 23563 really confuses me, and thus i ended up taking out 20 000pesos which is 40 bucks w hen i ment to take out 200 000 pesos which is 400 bucks lol so i probly have to goto the bank machine again soon :P

I tried to upload photos but for some reason i´ve had some difficulties :(

Well thats my update from chile.
