My final day in slato.
Well i must say my family in all of uruguay have been just amazing once again.
For the moment though I will talk about the ones I am visiting right now.
We arrived on tuesday, no one really knew we were coming, they had a general idea but not an exact date, Within an hours they put together a massive BBQ with like 20 people everyone went out of there way to come see us, just amazing, The family here is HUGE and everyones so close together, one cousin just moved next door to his mother and his mother helps out with his kids and stuff,he is doing really well he has 3 buisnessīs and works hard, But he loves uruguay sayīs heīd never want to, He says (and i agree) Those who are leaving (lots are leaving) Donīt want to work hard, but you have to work hard everywhere to get a head, theres no free ride anywhere in the world.

The culture here is amazing, Everyones so close and gets along really well, And at the drop of a dime (even on a weekday) They drop everything and get together, As i mentioned priviously they have natural hot springs nearby, so everyone loves just droping everything and going there for the day with family.

They were speaking of an exchange student from england who was trying to explain to them the differnce in the cultures and just all around differnces and how people tend to judge a country or a people by there whealth, Anyways i wonīt get into a big thing about it coz admitatly uruguay has a lot of things that need some work, But the english exchange student was just sayin how he really likes the closeness of everyone and how much time they spend with friends and family, Where in england prioty one is Work, they spend so much time working hard, and only see friends and family on holidays.

Anyways not to rant i have had an amazing time here in salto (just like last time) everyones been so great to us, always been greated by big smiles, almost a shame we are leaving so soon already.

Tomorrow we leave at 1pm to montevideo should arrive about 6;30 from there i donīt really know what im doing, my parents are heading to punta del este on saturday but i am not sure if i want to go there or stay in montevideo and vist my friends and try to find all my cousins who recently moved there.

Everyday i feel more comftrable down here, Its easy to misjudge, at first when you land you see the buildings that time and weather have taken its toll on, but then when you enter the the houses they are beautifully kept, and are constatly greeted with smiles and lots of kisses!

I think if i ever spoke fluent spanish, i might never leave latin america, I guess time will tell, For now though i still really have the travelbug and am not sure how long i will stay in uruguay, Weather i should try to pick up the langauge or head to brasil, So many choices, Life is good Or as the coca cola comercial down here says (losely translated)

Cheers to the one who quit his job to open a bar on the beach,
la vida es como Tomas
Life is how you Take it, But in spanish take is also drink, Hence the coca cola play on words.

Cheers to everyone from wonderful HOT salto!
