Well I know This isn't An Exciting Travel update From a Foreign country, However I figured I would document my time leading up to my "Ultimate Trip."

So when I look back upon things from Wherever i may be years down the road I remember How it felt to wake up at 5:30am everyday to work a unsatisfying labour intense job And truly Realize how fortunate I Have become.

With 6.5 months,29 weeks, 205 Days left. If i was counting...
I am already reminded of the bureaucracy that fills the world to A travelers dismay.
For the moment All I know for certain is that My Primary/Initial Destination is south America and in that Buenos Aires Being the Cheapest point of entry.

In a perfect world that would be all there is to it, However In our Highly bureaucratic world, With the purchase of A "one way ticket" I COULD be refused Onboard my FLIGHT (not into the country) Airlines do This As a way to try to Force you to purchase there Expensive Highly Restrictive "open tickets"
Instead I tried to buy a return Ticket Just to cut through the bureaucratic Tape as fast as possible, I figured it couldn't hurt to have a back up, I would just Buy a Return ticket and push it as far back as possible, Which turns out to be 6 months BUT once again I come across another dilemma, IF the airline Notices that my Stay (on paper) Extends past the countries allowed time without a visa, This being 3 months for Argentina, Then once again I could be refused Entry To the Aircraft.
In real life All I would have to do Is Cross the border on a Visa run and then re-enter the country Now with 3 more months.
The whole Situation made even more silly Due to the fact that I plan on Arriving In Buenos Aires And more or less Instantly Travel to Montevideo, Uruguay Via the "Buqabus" Which is A commutator boat that ferry's people and Vehicles Between the 2 countries.
Thus making Buying a 6 month visa for a 1 day stay upon entry Even more ludacris.

This is always the Most frustrating part about traveling Because you know Once you arrive in the country of your destination And travel within the continent No one could careless.
Especially when land traveling.
However Since For whatever reason The people who don't travel and know nothing of traveling beyond Resorts Are the ones we in the free world Choose to represent us (if you believe we really had a choice in this decision making process.)

Regardless of all that its looking like my Trip is Set for a November 4th 2007 Departure Ariving in Buenos Aires At 2:55pm November 5th 2007.
Then depending on circumstances Heading Shortly there after to visit family and friends in Uruguay.
Beyond That anythings possible, In the immediate I would like to Travel around Argentina Chile and Brazil, Looking a little past that Latin America.
Then in the Semi Distant future I'm Hoping to Visit south Africa for the 2010 world cup.
Travel and perhaps Do a working holiday in Australia/New Zealand.
Revisit Asia, Some of the places I loved and perhaps some new ones And India!
If at all possible depending on the state of the world in the future If being Reasonably Safe (by my standards...)
I'd like to Visit Some of the middle east And Africa.

Other then that In work news I have Exciting News to report, Our Employer Had decided To Supply us with new and improved work gloves, We all waited in anticipation.
The promise was Fulfilled On Wednesday.
You know you hear about these things but When they happen to you its truly a great thing!
