About half way here it started pouring and pouring some more not super hard like in costa rica but enough.
so on the bus i was sitting next to 3 large panamanian woman who were trying to pimp me off to there daughter lol was pretty funny they even invited me to come to the island they work at rather then bocas island and the daughter kept saying how well our names go together pretty funny, also funny part is i had lots of trouble understanding there spanish not sure if my spanish is just gettin worse or they spoke with lots of slang an induendo but for some reason at first they thought i was costa rican.
So i witnessed first hand all the distruction that this region of panama has felt over the past month or more, roads were out land slides rocks everywhere new rivers new water falls trees fallen down everywhere definatly will be a while till they clean that up.
Apart from that the bus ride was pretty chill.
So i arrived by water taxi it was still raining meet a couple people and we started looking for a hostel, funny thing is after almost 2 months of traveling every couple min i got stoped by someone i had met earlier on in the trip who wanted to say hello.
Once we had reached the hostel the people i had met on the taxi asked me how i know so many people here and if i had lived here or something said nope just been travelin for a while.
Town seems pretty chill really differnt vibe on the caribean coast reminds me a lot of belize actually lots of people with african decent i guess from when everyone brought the slaves over, Also the chinese are back just like in belize it seems like most of the stores are chinese owned... Who knew.
its very laid back here now just if i got some sun i might be tempted to stay awhile, However i think my new new plan is to spend the weekend in bocas then go back up to costa rica for a few days on the coast there, as im a lil worried about getting traped on the island due to bad weather...
And then still around the 18th into san jose waiting fo my flight.
I don't think i can justify spending 2 days on the bus for 3 days in the capital city just to see the canal i've had so many bus rides at this point im DONE, and there not nice comfy buses like in Argentina.
