The tikal mayan ruins are located in extremely dense jungle, I gotta tell ya its been an adventure just getting to this area of guatamala its extremely remote and ¨towns¨are tiny with very little creature comforts.

Central america advice. Always shower with rubber flip flops on, And Never Ever touch the medal shower head as its ususally wired... and could give you a shocking expierance.

We explored the mayian ruins for the whole day it was pretty exhausting, and surprisingly there was very few tourists most of the tourists were package tourists and we seemed to be the only independant travelers / young travelers around.
Tikal is a really amazing park just for how dense the jungle is and so little of the actually area has been cleared out you can stil see buildings that are completly claimed by the jungle and the tourist inforstructure is very minimal which really surprised me...
Also there was very few tourists as i said earlier.

This all leads to a very rewarding experiance for those who do make it.

By far the biggest downfall of being in the jungle is we were like a bug buffet our legs have hundreds of itchy little bug bites I guess its the price one most pay hey?

Anways so thats my fast lil update after disapearing for the past few days
Hopefully i can update photos when i get to antigua and the internet is a little better...
Cheers
Brian
