I was 3 years old when my mom and recently-born baby brother first returned back to the Dominican Republic. My only memory from this trip was that I managed to climb my grandmother's china cabinet, knock it over, break all her plates, yet walk away unscathed! These were my true beginnings as a world traveler/general troublemaker.

Baby safe in Dominican?
I would love to travel around the Carribean; however, I have a 7 mo. old baby, and heard he would need a Hepatitas shot first... he isn't able to get immunized until he is 1 yr., so how was your mom able to bring your bro traveling there so young?

I honestly don't know...keep in mind that this trip I described took place in the 1970's so the requirements may have been different then... :-)
