During my four months in Latin America, I achieved everything I set out to achieve. I traveled to places I only dreamed of and I woke up every day thrilled to spend my hours writing to my heart's content, while sitting on my balcony and taking in views of volcanoes, mountains, and green valleys. Alas, it is time to start my next journey (the money does eventually run out!)

WELCOME TO THE AMERICAN SOUTHWEST...

My next adventure brings me to a place with 300 days of sunshine a year and of course...another balcony and mountain view. I will continue to write and await the travel bug, which has already bit me in less than a week! This time, I boarded a car instead of a plane and have already started my southwest adventure, including my first helicopter ride ever (over the Hoover Dam in Nevada), celebrating a friend's birthday in Vegas and an upcoming trip to the old towns in Tucson. Stay tuned as my next chapter (and next travel blog!) are never too far behind.
