I'm nowhere, yet. Still at home, sitting at my desk, daydreaming about travel and trying to plan the zillion details that need to be taken care of before I can depart.
At the moment I'm too lost in the details to be too excited, or apprehensive, or much of anything, for that matter. Still, there's no doubt that it's freaking me out more than a little. I'm planning to take off for months completely on my own to the other side of the world, without much of a clue what I'll do when I get home. Scary stuff.
That said, I know this is the right thing to do. I'm a travel-a-holic and this trip has been a long-standing dream. I know the experience will be amazing, and I can't wait to get out there!

You should have known it would be me!!! Just heard about the trip. Your dad signed a bunch of passport applications for Jon and the kids and we got filled in.
Sure wish I was doing what you're doing!
