The night before

Hello from Central London. It's the night before the tour, and so we've left Jon's and have moved to the departure hotel.
Today we met most of our "family" for the next six weeks, and it was more than a little overwhelming. Everyone seems really nice so far, but I'm not sure how I'm going to learn all the names!
From an activity-speaking perspective, today was pretty uneventful. We went to the supermarket and Woolworth's, then schlepped our luggage to the Tube to come to the hotel. After checking in, we hung out for a bit and then went to the pre-tour meeting. After that, dinner and drinks in the pub and a (relatively) early night... of course, we have to be up at 5am. I'm not at my best early in the morning, so I hope I can stay in a cheery mood.
Tomorrow, the tour begins. More soon!
