Just visited an area that has giant trees.  These bad boys were about 4-5 m thick.  Coming in about 400-800 years old.  Good to look at but the novelty does wear off a bit once you've seen about 4 of them.  Still mighty impressive though.

The only real downside to visiting them is that they are in the middle of bloody nowhere.
About 50 clicks north there is a wee town and 30 clicks south there is a shop.

Once I get a decent connection (remember ma camera) I'll get some photos up!!!
