Off to Tahiti. ┐Will I get upgraded to First class? hope so. hehe

No upgrade unfortunaly but the plane was pretty much empty so I had all the 3 seats in the middle for myself and as such could lie down easily and confortably. Arrived early and waited a bit for Julien (my host) to come and pick me up. Arrived at his, everybody else was sleeping so had a quick introductory beer and went to sleep. Next day woke up early went off to papeete by foot (living at Faaa right now) and walked around. Bought a charger for my ipod, I have been going without since Cusco where it was stolen with my bag and then went to the police station because I have lost my driving licence in easter island and I can make a new one here hopefully. Once this was finished it started raining cats and dogs so I decided to grab a bus home, which dropped me off at the bottom of the hill. Walked for about 5 min in the crazy weather, just enough for me to be absolutly soaking when I managed to find shelter under a bridge. Tried to hitchhike as many cars passed but im not sure if it was because I was soaking wet or just because I was not a local but I didnt not get a ride and was only saved when a bus picked me up. The rest of the day was quite and I just went about finishing my book, resting, swimming in the pool and getting eaten alive by mosquitoes (mosquitoes are having breakfeast right now as im writing this entry). The evening we went into town as some animation was organised in favour of Aids awareness and we luckily got a beautiful polynesian dance routine - do not ask which was more beautiful, the dance routine or the dancers, i would get in trouble. hehe. Then after quite a few boring speeches, some more or less in tune singers singing polynesian songs but also some Elton john remixes and christmas carols, we had a beer on the port and went home to bed.

Today heading off to the lagon the weather is nice (not going to last) so I'm going to take advantage of this.

Bon, alors en conclusion, à Tahiti:

-ya des moustiques
-il pleut
-ya des grèves
En conclusion, ce n'est pas la peine d'y aller :)
