eventually arrived at pemba after my mission of a journey, spent a few days relaxing in russells place. enjoyed the beach and swimming in the sea but pemba didnt really catch my heart. never made it to the islands, was too difficult and thats supposed to be the highlight, except for one interesting trip to a local market and to interesting nights at the local nightspot pemba was a bit on the boring side, over priced, over developed, and over hyped. it was undoubtedly a beautifully situated town but lacking the kick that malawi had and i had become accustomed to
