Hello, my update for today is a rainy one. It was drizzly all day here in Canberra. A friend and I went on an International students bus tour of the market in Canberra, Australian Parliament, Mt. Ainsley (I dunno how to spell it...it's really a hill anyway), and the world embassies (p.s. the U.S. has the biggest one :). It was fun, but I definitely think it would've been better with sunshine. I met a guy from New Zealand named Kieran, and he came with Natasha (from the Netherlands) and I to an art theatre to meet Jo (another int. student from Scotland). I think the film was called Les Entendes Horribles...or something to that effect. In any case, it was French. It was strange. We all had good fun. Then, the four of us milled around the Canberra Center mall to buy some essential stuff like cleaning products, an umbrella, etc. I'm sure you wanted to know that. I hope tonight is better sleeping for me because last night I was kept up by my noisy neighbor. Try sleeping when about 15 Aussies have crammed their wine-consuming selves into a DORM ROOM, and decide to sing Frank Sinatra at the top of their lungs. They wanted to play the saxophone at about 1am as well. I really really hope the noise subsides a bit tonight. I don't think my jet lagging eyeballs can take it. Hopefully I'll have internet in my room soon, and I can talk to you guys via AIM or SKYPE. I look forward to hearing some of the goings on at home...I'm beginning to miss it. Oh, in case you all were wondering, they DO have Target, McDonalds, Starbucks, KFC, and Burger King (aka Hungry Jacks in AUS) here. So, don't worry anymore. :) That's all for now. Happy Saturday!

Re: Yes, but...
They totally DO NOT have Arby's...it's really funny that you said that, cause I was sitting in the mall food court looking at the McDonalds, Gloria Jeans and such thinking...hm...I wonder if Arby's will make an appearance. As far as I have gathered...no, not really. :(

I'm not sure yet, I guess we'll just have to get a bit more cozy. No sightings/smellings thus far. :)
