Sean and I had two beautiful beach days.  We kept out of the hot sun under a thatched-grass-roof hut, and we walked the beautiful shoreline, discovering starfish, sand dollars, crabs, and a few jellyfish along the way.  The sunsets were breathtakingly red.

We took a taxi and a ferry to leave the island, a taxi to the train station, and then we boarded a second class sleeper train for Bangkok.  Unfortunately the aircon broke down and the windows were sealed.  As the electrician spent the night trying to fix the aircon, he disturbed the electric circuits so the lights flickered all night.  Why oh why did I let Sean talk me into the second class night train?
